In Erzurum İspir Copper Zinc Project of Demir Export that has been operated by 2012, it was expressed that planned 2017 drillings were started by May with increasing trustability and improving source amount determined for Skarn 1 sector after 9,000 drillings that were completed besides geology and geochemistry was realized in 2016.
In 2012, in the field taken via tender from General Directorate of Mining Affairs, together with geological-geochemical etude studies, core drilling operations were started. In addition to completing CED process which was started in 2014, between 2012 and 2015, 37,700 core drillings in 189 locations were completed and within license field, 2 different type of mineralizations were determined.
As a result of works that were realized for Skarn type copper-zinc mineralizations, 3 million tons of source with 1.3% Cu, 4.77% Zn ve 33 gr/ton Ag were determined and drilling works for increasing potential are being performed
