ACG Metals reported significant construction and equipment milestones at the Gediktepe Mine in Türkiye as part of its January 2026 progress update, confirming that the sulphide expansion project remains on schedule for commercial production by the end of the first half of 2026.
During the latest phase of development, the company completed the foundations of the primary crusher and installed key components including the jaw crusher, ROM feed bin and feeders. Foundations for the SAG and ball mills were also finalised, while structural steel erection for the mill building continued.
Major process plant areas showed steady progress. Foundations for the flotation and filter buildings were completed, and all flotation cells were delivered to site together with a substantial portion of the planned structural steel. Earthworks for the tailings storage facility are advancing in line with the project timeline. The SAG and ball mills were manufactured and prepared for factory testing by the end of 2025, with delivery scheduled for January 2026.
As of the end of 2025, overall project completion stood at 37% for construction, with engineering at 68% and procurement at 66%. Concrete works reached 86% completion and approximately 80% of long-lead equipment had been delivered.
The sulphide expansion will enable the operation to transition from gold dore production to copper and zinc concentrates, positioning Gediktepe as a long-life base metals producer.
In parallel, ACG Metals is progressing the enriched ore treatment project designed to recover additional gold and silver from stockpiles, with Phase 1 commissioning targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026. A second phase is expected to add copper and zinc recovery in later years and generate additional copper-equivalent output.
The company ended 2025 with a strong liquidity position, reporting US$144 million in cash and net debt of US$65 million, while remaining fully compliant with its bond obligations.
With key mechanical equipment arriving on site and construction activities accelerating, the Gediktepe sulphide expansion continues to move toward its planned mid-2026 commissioning.
