Koza Anadolu Metal Mining has released its activity report for 2023. The company reported sales revenue of TRY 8.596 billion for the same period in 2023, compared to TRY 11.591 billion in 2022. The net profit for the period was TRY 575 million in 2023, down from TRY 3.627 billion in 2022.

Exploration and Office Activities

The company has been conducting base metal exploration in Turkey under its licenses since 2008. In 2023, sampling and mapping activities were carried out in the Aksu anomaly. Office work continued for the Konaklı project and all other Koza Anadolu Metal licenses. The company also announced ongoing field activities at the Ardıçlı, Karakapı, Medetsiz, Dündarlı, Çubuklu, Pozantı, Derbent, Nallıhan, Göbekkaya, and Aksu anomalies, along with office work for the Konaklı project at the General Directorate.

Konak Project Details

The company provided details about the Konak Project: “The Konak Project is owned by Konaklı Metal Madencilik San. Tic. A.Ş., a joint venture between Koza Anadolu Metal Mining Enterprises Inc. and Teck Mining Inc. It is located on Kızılyar Hill, 2 km north of Tohumluk village in Alucra district, Giresun province.

Upon completion of sample results, the necessary data has been delivered to the mining geology and modeling unit, and modeling studies are ongoing. To support resource and reserve calculations, a contract was signed with a special consultancy firm, and metallurgical test studies were initiated in 2023 with an international specialized laboratory.”
