Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, during his official visit to Beijing, the capital of China, met with Wang Guanghua, Minister of Natural Resources of the People’s Republic of China. Regarding the meeting, Minister Bayraktar stated, “During our meeting with Mr. Wang Guanghua, the Minister of Natural Resources of the People’s Republic of China, we agreed to develop our existing and potential cooperation in the fields of natural resources and mining, particularly in critical minerals and rare earth elements, both in our countries and in third countries.”
Meeting with Energy Company SPIC
Prior to his meeting with Minister Guanghua, Minister Bayraktar met with one of China’s largest energy companies, SPIC. Commenting on the meeting, Bayraktar said, “We held the first meeting of our visit to Beijing with SPIC, one of China’s largest energy companies, which already has significant investments in our country. We discussed our ongoing projects in the fields of nuclear and renewable energy in line with our country’s 2053 net zero target and outlined the roadmap.”
