Koza Gold, announced that new license was given back to Ovacık operation by returning business license, and operation is restarted. The Company used these Statements; “ in expression that was done on 14.07.2017 by our Company, within the frame of annulment decision of İzmir 3. Administrative Court, it was announced that business license of our Ovacık operation was cancelled, ore production activity was stopped, 30 days were given to us with the purpose of taking required measures to stop other activities, and judicial process is proceeding.
By Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, 1. Class G.S.M. business license numbered 20, dated 04.08.2017 by İzmir Governorship Investment Monitoring and Coordination Department regarding “ÇED AFFIRMATIVE DOCUMENT” numbered 4717 and dated 03.08.2017 that was issued for Ovacık Gold Mine Operation, was issued.
Authorities from Governorship which visited our business, removed sealing process that was announced in our 14.07.2017 dated KAP announcement regarding new license, continuation of our business was provided.
ÇED Affirmative Decision was taken for waste storage area
On the other hand, for Ovacık Gold Mine which is one of the most important businesses of our Company, the decision regarding ÇED report that was presented with “Waste Storage Facility” was also affirmative. Regarding to subject, the company cited that in statement that was done to KAP, presented ÇED report was accepted as final by Examination Valuation Commission on 11.07.2017, and regarding to the project, “ÇED Affirmative” Decision was taken on 03.08.2017.
